Tags being removed by pirate openers and pins being cut off in change rooms are the major reasons EAS Security Systems are continuously defeated. There must be a better way. Alarming Ink - this tag is all about solving shop theft, once and for all. This dual technology tag is designed to give the retailer the most protection for the least amount of money. The ink protects the EAS, and attempting to cut or mutilate the tag renders the merchandise unusable. In turn the EAS adds extra protection to the "ink" as the shoplifter cannot take the tag outside the store without alarming the system.
